Frequently asked questions
What documents do I need to rent a car?
Your original ID card and a driving licence that has not expired. Foreign visitors use a passport together with an international driving permit. We photograph and keep these documents only as far as the rental contract and any insurance claim require.
Can I cancel, and do I get the deposit back?
Tell us before the pick-up date and our team refunds the booking deposit in full. All the conditions appear on the booking page before you confirm, and are recorded in the contract you receive.
What do I do if the car breaks down or I have an accident?
Call our team straight away, any hour. Do not agree to settle with the other party yourself — we will deal with the insurer. Where the policy covers the incident, the renter pays only the excess stated on the car's page.
How much is the deposit, and when do I get it back?
There are two separate amounts. The booking deposit you pay when you book counts towards the rental itself. The damage deposit is left on the day of pick-up and returned in full within 7 working days of the car coming back. If anything is deducted, we always show you the details and the evidence first.
How does monthly rental work?
The longer you rent, the lower the daily rate, following the price table on each car's page. From 30 days the monthly rate applies automatically — no haggling.
